      Hi,

      I need to replace the rubber boots on the short ’tillers’ that attached to the rudders on my HT26.  Can anyone advise on where I can get these?

          Thanks Mike, I used to own a Cortina, but a long time ago!

          I will start digging based on the tips and hope that someone has done a replacement more recently and may be able to advise.

            30 years ago I made my own by stitching together four pieces of vinyl cloth  — It has lasted well !

              This looks very neat and 30yrs is outstanding for such a demanding location!

              My first search for ‘vinyl cloth’ auto corrected to ‘vinyl clothing’ and gave me rather a shock!  Any suggestions for a source of heavy duty cloth?
