There are offers on Liros polyester ropes at the moment…does anyone have any experience of these? If so what sizes of these would be appropriate for docking purposes?

From my end of the yard Stick, personally would not use Liros due to known issues. Kingfisher ropes are great and have non budget breaking price tags on them. Question of size is more down to comfort. A small diameter size of certain ropes Will have a greater breakiBonus.rain than required but a larger Dia. would give far greater confort to who ever is working with it. Happy crew is always a bonus

          Thanks Salty

Took advice from the chandlery…ended up with a couple of dock lines…Seago 14mm spliced mooring lines plus a couple of rubber snubbers…15 tonne..decided it would make life easier if there was nobody available to tie a knot at the other end and to soften my ham fistedness with the throttle post mooring!

            Sounds good to me…
