Built/launched 1979
Engines Twin Beta 13.5hp diesel engines, replaced in 2005. Volvo sail drives, with
bronze flexifold props (with spare set), 2 x 30 gallon fuel tanks,
consumption between quarter to half gallon per hour. Wheel steering.. Fire
extinguishers in each engine compartment. 4 x 90 amp batteries, with
Adverc battery management system. Batteries charged by engines,and solar
panels (one new), both fitted with new voltage regulators.
Sails & rig: Bermudan cutter rig, mainsail, Solid SS Rotostay furler for genoa (serviced
by Europspars 2013), Sails include main plus spare, genoa plus spare and a
cruising chute (age unknown but all in good condition). Plastimo inner jib
furling, stainless steel standing rigging (replaced 2013)with aluminium alloy
mast and boom. With various winches, jamming cleat etc designed to
enable sail hauling and reefing to be carried out from the cockpit.
Hull and Deck: GRP hulls, deck and superstructure, finished in white, with light blue
superstructure. Iron keel shoes are fitted to enable Touchdown to take the
ground.

Accommodation:
2 x aft double cabin and single passage berth, heads area with sea toilet, wash basin and hand
shower with hot and cold water. Galley fitted with Nelson cooker, Paloma 5 water heater, sink
with H & C water plus hand pump. Large navigation area. Saloon has table seating for 6, Calorific
cabin heater.

Touchdown is for sale after a major refit, which includes all new Perspex windows, headlining and
sidelining throughout, Complete new standing rigging. New seals fitted in heads, water pumps,
new seacock for heads, all new water pipes, one new water tank, plus much more. Now for sale
after 12 months refitting, due to change of circumstances so now not able to use the boat. The boat
has been sailed in all weathers by the previous owners and always proved safe and secure in all
conditions. She is also very manoeuvrable with her twin engines.
