Welcome to the new HTCCA web site – which to begin with is much the same as the old website except that it is running on new up to date software. In the long run this should allow us to expand with new facilities. Although this forum is fully working it is an area that I shall be “fine tuning”. If you have any thoughts on what you would like to see – please let me know. As everything has changed I’m sure that there will be some errors, if you see anything that is not quite right or is missing please let me know. Thanks.
Bookmarks – Favorites.
Most Bookmarks/Favorites should redirect to the new web address, but some will not. If it causes you problems you may need to update the Bookmarks/Favorites in your browser to the new address.—– Most Important —–
All users need to reset their password once.
All passwords are encrypted and the old system is incompatible with the new system and so they could not be transfered.
Mike.

There appears to be a problem with reseting your password – please avoid resetting password until I have had a chance to test and rectify. Thanks.

Mike27th April 2016 at 2:37 pm #12188Despite testing – testing – and more testing some members are still having problems reseting their password, getting the message “error – invalid key” If that includes you please let me know.
Thanks

So I have completely changed the login/register/lost passowrd forms. So far So good !Mike
29th April 2016 at 1:46 pm #12195I’v now tried four different login/register/forgotten password systems – each with issues. So I’m now running a basic system which works But . . .
If I find anything better/more reliable I’ll change things.
Mike28th June 2016 at 2:13 pm #12220The current login/sign-up system has now been running without problems for a little while. So I shall keep it as is, unless you have any problems ?
As always please let me know.
29th November 2016 at 2:49 pm #12361Dear Mike,
I don’t know if you remember us Hitomi and Earl Green,Falmouth ? Just to say about your new software and password reset,I have just changed my password and reset it and hope all goes well. I have to say that I cannot understand why after using the other software for so long without any problems you have change
it. Sadly I gave up my membership of the SSCA after nearly twenty years of membership becuase of exactly the same problem, they changed their software I was unable to sign in and after much toing and froing I cancelled my membership. At my age I really cannot be doing with the aggro of password problems and all that entails,if I were 18 not 80 I’m sure it would be no problem.
Take care, Kind regards,
