Hi !!!
As I am peeling the gel-coat of NDNM ( mark1, 1975) ( hard work!!!!in comparison, the capital punishment seems a joke!!! :-)) it appears that the keels were made in two parts, tha second part probably added after construction, making them deeper (6 to 8 inches, more or less)
Is it common ? Do all the HT have the same keel depth??
Thank you

All of the pictures I've seen of HT's bottoms seem to look the same, and just one piece.I've yet to see one with a shaft and prop exiting the keels, as I guess the HT's with inboard engines might have. I believe Sula used to have her outboard mounted in the cockpit [nacel], before this was glassed over. The outboard now is on the stern.
It looks like you're ready for some serious work in the photo!
Hi Yann
Quite a job!!
As I scraped off the antifouling I noticed a 'wooden-shoe' under the polyester keels. I suspect they are there to land the boat without damage.
They were the same size you mention.
Keep up the good work!!
Juup
Thank you both!!
Juup, I think you're right…. despite the fact your football team crushed our this night 4-1 !!! 😉 😉 !!!!
