Why do manufacturers never give the mast height of a boat? They give virtually every other dimension but never the mast height either from the water line or deck. Could be very useful if you are going under a bridge!!!!!!! Looks like the next time John goes up the mast he must take a tape measure!!!!!!!!!!!
Good question Rob. The short answer is that they often change the height of the mast with subsequent marks or models. The HT mark 1 for example, has a much shorter mast than any of the later ones, so what height would you give in the literature? Best that you know the height of your mast (and not anyone elses). I understand your frustration though…..hope you have a long tape measure! Good luck.
