Hi Dave, I fitted a pair of brand new Vetus 11hp M2C5's to my HT MK 2 “Tigger 2 about 10 years ago,have about 150 hrs on them now,they have been faultless and with a clean bottom will give 6.5 knots at 2000 rpm. I have 3 bladed 13 inch Vetus props. I wish I had specified gearboxes that contra rotated but hindsight is a gift or so they tell me!!. The advantage of the Vetus units is that they are freshwater cooled with heat exchangers and they fitted fine on the bearers.I have never had to worry about no hand start(yanmar) as they fire up very quickly with no fuss even after the winter lay up. I fitted 2 separate battery systems and 2 separate 10 gallon tanks. I have run at 2000 revs for 22 hours non stop and still had 2 gallons left in each tank.
