I don't know if it is possible to modify a Mk III but someone will know. I have a MK 1 which when I bought her, had been ashore for 9 years. The drain holes inthe anchor lockers had blocked a, the locckers filled up with water and rotted the forward bulkhead in front of the table. I had to have about 6ft x 2ft cut out, replaced and reglassed both sides. Just check you have no spongy bits in this area. I have renovated most parts of the boat. Try Pip Patterson at The Multihull Centre, Millbrook, Falmouth, for the locker tops.
