we used a satphone on the last AZAB race. the bill was astronimical just downloading GRIB files and daily voice position reporting just under £1000 in a month. dont even dream of uploading video unless you own chelseaFC!!
Work on a blog off line and Burst transmit to save airtime. Have you thought of an HF SSB you can then use sailmail to get free e.mail and weather etc . wish wed done that.
