    Ecycle has now decided to deal with me directly and allow me to do the installation (dangerous).
    This will apparently give around 10Kw at 2400 RPM, the motor/generator is a brushless, solid slot, permanent magnet (NdFeB) 24v DC motor with super high efficiency 90%+.

    Engine at 2350 rpm
    Generator will push out 29 VDC
    With 45 N-m available from the diesel
    The gen should push out 375 amps

    The projected cost:
    This is a very raw GenSet. There are no control electronics that I am aware of. i.e. no speed actuator, no cutoff etc. Just a marinized engine with a DC motor bolted on.
    All safety and voltage control is done manually. i.e. if I where to push the engine to 3400 RPM with the motor connected I would probably fry the motor. Will have to build in safety for this.
    It comes with liquid cooled exhaust manf. Engine feet. Gen, Attachment brackets etc.

    Kit with support is $3000 + shipping $50
    Engine was $1500+shipping $150
    Total without installation is $4700 (2193 squid)
