Reply To: How tight should my rig be?

That is a great question; my back stays also seem too loose. Apparently having a tuned rig can make quite a difference in performance. But I have no idea how to work out what tension they should be and it’s a little way down on my priority list at the moment.
Has anyone considered putting a fact sheet together for the different HT’s? i.e. Sail measurements, recommended rig tensions, prop sizes for engine options etc.?
