Hi Yann
Our exhausts are just above the waterline. They exit a few centimeters in front of the aft cabins (within the engine compartment) but outside, not between the hulls.
This way you can check the exhausts from the cockpit. We do this more than you think. To check the cooling, fumes or proper running.
As the waterintake is at the inside (under the boat) you often check the exhaust to see if there are no waterplants obstructing the cooling.
We brought our HT27 over Rhone and Rhine to
Holland and no excessive fumes or discolouring occurredon the hulls. Just some, but easy to clean off. Ills send you a picture.
