So far I've obtained the full spec sheet for the “Royal” including all the critical measurements. Next weekend I'm planning to measure the raised moulding on Drummer to see how it best fits (if indeed it does fit!) ….before I place the order.

With regard to chain opening, I'm anticipating that I wil need to drill a hole directly below the windlass (into the stbd locker) and store the anchor rode there rather than in the port locker. If this is the case, I'll then grind, fill and polish the existing opening so that it nolonger exists.
