    Jon
I have just completed fitting a propex to the out side hull on my HT 27, half way along the crawl through.
I swopped my combined inlet/exhaust mounting for a flush face single fitting ,similiar to Erberspachers for the exhaust and used a standard plastic through hull fitting for the air intake connected to the metal piping supplied. The inlet pipe does not get even warm.
The exhaust outlet must be within a metre of the heater because the unit uses a plain fan blower rather than a drum blower (like a hampster wheel) which can create a greater pressure.( so I was told).
The air intake does not have to be on the outer hull but could be still in the cockpit . Once again you are limited to the distance away from the unit 1 metre.
I got the exhaust fitting from propex themselves at Southampton. They are not a standard stock item but the chap had one made up for me locally.

I am now lovely and warm but there is the fear of melting the fenders?
    Good luck Dave Rush
