I’ve used a servo-pendulum wind vane with great success on my HT Allegro III, covering many thousands of miles. If there is anything I can help you with please let me know.

As website admin I have just got a PDF file from Bruce Trott’s website which is all about making and using a trim tab wind-vane (see HT-Archive). I’ll try and get it online over the next few days.
