      Hi, has anyone got a wind vane fitted ? I am in the process of building a ” trim tab” wind steering system for Twin Star and wondered if anyone has fitted similar to their HT. I have read the many articles regarding the various methods of construction, but would really benefit from a chat with anyone who is using one.

        I’ve used a servo-pendulum wind vane with great success on my HT Allegro III, covering many thousands of miles. If there is anything I can help you with please let me know.

        As website admin I have just got a PDF file from Bruce Trott’s website which is all about making and using a trim tab wind-vane (see HT-Archive). I’ll try and get it online over the next few days.
