Spray hoods – quotes this year 2016, south coast England, varied from £800 to £1100 plus VAT. This was just for canvas, not frame! So, very expensive. That said, IMHO, an HT without a hood, sailing in the UK, is not a good idea (unless you like a lot of water in your face).
