Reply To: End of Pat's designs???

The business has be bought by Darren Newton of Multimarine Composites and Dazcat fame. He was based around the corner in Millbrook but took over the Multihull Centre earlier this year. Pip and Debbie have gone sailing! I believe they still hold some small interest but only in the yard. I am going down tomorrow and will ask about the moulds etc and whether there are any plans. I suspect that with the designs and manufacturing systems now being largely superceded this will be the end. My guess is that there is no money in making small cats at least in this country. I am currently watching them build a large Broadblue…base price £1mill…before fitting out….gulp!
