Reply To: OW/HT Structure

Salty…yep that's exactly what 'n where. I know the HT's suffered some “slump” under the mast…John Holloway's FreyaFrey a has a new large lump of timber to provide extra support…I am really trying to figure out what supports the mast itself which, I would guess, is probably the same on the HT and the OW…is it just the combined strength of the ply bulkhead that runs across the boat together with the fibreglass “roof”? Or is there a mighty chunk of something else hidden away? Thanks for the reply.
