I just returned from another day of sanding.
The waterline is from the ground up is 88 cm both bow and stern, but ours is heavy because of twin diesels and fuel and water-tanks.
There was another earlier waterline visible at 86cm from the ground wich may well have been the original. So 87cm will be fine.
But it must be somewhere in that range where your startingpoint to measure the waterline will be.
