      Would anyone know what the correct name for this and where to get one, have done the internet searches but cant find anything.

        The scoops are “shell covers” which you should be able to get an any reasonable chandlers. They are meant to be used the other way up to stop water getting in an opening, in a similar way to mushroom covers try to stop water getting into a vent. These here are just used to try to limit the water coming up the cockpit drains, or anchor locker from below. We broke several on an Atlantic crossing but rarely got water in without them there. An alternative is to attach a flap that closes as the water hits it from below.
