I'm thinking about where to cruise this summer (out of the Solent). I have 9 days with a crew from 29th July, and then can extend for up to two more weeks single handed. I just wondered if anyone else was out and about at the end of July and into August, and, if so, where they might be heading. Last year, I made it down to Brixham and Dartmouth and did not see a single HT of any description 'in action' anywhere (there or back).
I've made no decisions yet. Never been east past Chi – anyone going east? Will prob head (further) west again – a slog there (usually), but great locations. Then again there's the cruise headed 'Cherbourg' for 31 July on this site. Is anyone with an HT (considering) setting off cross channel from the Solent (assume with Mark or Paul et al)? Just might be nice to know?

So looks like I'm heading west on Thursday to Yarmouth, then Portland next. Hopefully see some of you en route? BTW, just taken delivery of Henbury fleece with HT logo and boat name. Very good quality. Can recommend.
