      Hey all

      for a bit of fun I put up a boat speed calculator.

      boat speed

      This can help in determining;

        The impact of additional displacement,
        engine sizing for a particular cruising speed,
        help with fuel consumption calculations,
        and the beginnings propeller sizing

      I will be updating it with engine and propeller calculators in the near future.
      see HT re-power example for an example of how this was used.

          it's a hyperlink… click the blue “boat speed” text, it'll take you there, or the blue “HT re-power example” in the previous post. Or copy and paste this link into you browser address bar.
