Well, after lusting after a Hevenly Twin for about 20 years, I am very excited to report that I am now the proud owner of a “project boat”…It's a Mk 1, but not sure of the hull number… And of all things, I purchased it on eBay about 30 minutes ago…it was a wild and crazy last minute of bidding, but we came out on top. The boat information and quite a few photos can be seen at:

You might think I'm crazy after looking at the photos, but I have a few friends who think it's going to be great fun getting it back in shape. Now I just need to order some good back issues of the newsletter with repair/restore articles. Looking forward to lots of interesting challenges…but hopefully with help from some of you, all will be overcome.

Looks like a good buy if you don't mind a bit of work. We walked away from our first HT after looking at her because it was so bad but got in the end and had a great time restoring her. Good luck.

Congratulations on your purchase.
I am restoring another HT.
Patience and perseverance, that's the secret of success.
