My HT stanchion sockets are marked 'Sowester' and I understand that the company making them went out of business in 2001. Does anyone know if they are available anywhere ?

        Hi Neville
What are stachion sockets, or where are they lokated.
My online translator makes a mess of it.

The rails around the sides of the boat are fitted into deck fittings. (sockets)

            Hi Juup.
As a follow up to Steve's reply, these are the 6 cast aluminium (anodised) brackets bolted along the sidedecks to carry the vertical aluminium stanchions , which in turn support the safety lines from the pulpit to the pushpit. I need at least 2 replacements, but may end up having to duplicate them in stainless steel.
