Finally after three weeks daily work, it is done!
A whole new ceiling in all cabins. The old ones were a bit wobbly to look at. Now they look straight and tidy. Insulated and all. I gained half an inch of clearance. For lightning I got the new led lights.
A tip; At Ikea they sell led-lights, four for 39 Euro's only a few millimeters thick. The good thing about them, they operate on 12 volts. Simply, cut the transformer and install!! Name Dioder. I installed them throughout the front cabin and as readinglights in the aftcabins. all lit ony 0,5 amps!!!!!!!!
Cant wait to replace the navigation lights with these when those 'bulbs' get cheaper too.
Well I,m glad it is done, but I still have a lot of plans.

          Well done Juup!!
Just take care with navigation lights. The angle of illumination of a LED is a lot narrower than an incandescent light. Those light can be very difficult to see, depending of the position of the other boat. Just be sure they are certified by authorities and insurrance. Some bad surprises are possible….. 🙁
