      Has anyone thought of changing the aftcabin turning doors to sliding ones?
      I find the swing they make into the cockpit a bit strange. Turning inwards may not be practical too (and also not too seaworthy).

        I've seen a modification to turn them into washboard slats, I'll try and find the email with the photos.

        Speaking of the aft cabin entrances – I hate the big heavy hatches, I'm thinking of converting them to acrylic hatches as the top opening is small enough, anyone tried this?

            No – I was going to replace them with the same lift up and down action. I'll post a picture if they turn out all right!

            By the way – baby has arrived, Sofia Ann Isis born 25th May weighing 9lb 2oz (about 4kg in Dutch weight).
