Well we have finally decided that we will head out from Majorca, Porto Colom, its a great place but difficult for us to get to. ( Were presently live in Pakistan)
As we can speak prety good turkish were heading for there and have had a good offer from Kemer Marina. Around 1600 EU's for a year on the hard or in the water. We know Kemer well as we had our old Trident 24 there for two years (88 & 89).
Now hers the problem. It's some time since my better half sailed, this coupled with the fact this will be the first time to sail Patricia Mary means that Jackie is worried about heading there. She also dosn't like sailing at nights.
I would of quite happily sailed straight there but, thats not to be.
So all you people that have sailed extensively in the Med, could you give us some good tips on which route to follow.
We should have three weeks starting in Mid September and then we will have to leave her for the winter somewhere and continue in 08.
As we are going to Turkey could that mean a no no for calling in at Greece ???.
Good sailing everyone.
Steve
